Here' a "smooth" new Allen Elishewitz design coupled with our exclusive AXIS lock for the ultimate in smo-o-oth. The Model 730 Ares handle scales are machined of two-toned G-10 composite with a dimensional contour styling for added "gripability" and dress. A subtle "peaked" finger groove along the handle bottom does well to position the knife in the palm and the recessed finger-treads offer ideal blade control.
Double liners are made of 410 stainless steel and they are uniquely skeletonized to lighten the load. The Model 730 blade shape features a long radiused point/curve with plenty of flat edge which offers a generous cutting surface. And it is worth noting that the Model 730 is one of the knives which premiers 154CM stainless steel into the Benchmade line for a 100% made in the USA knife. Dual thumb-studs for ambidextrous opening coupled with the AXIS lock make for easy single-handed function. A steel carry-clip is movable to either handle side and a lanyard hole is added for extra security if desired.
